It has notes of red currant, ripe plum, cassis, cardamom, and toffee. A harmonious intensity. Long and beautiful finish with fine tannins it will provide drinking pleasure through 2043 with proper cellaring. 1.5L

Owner David Duncan explained that the American oak they use in the wine for aging now comes 100% from their own barrel-making facilities, which tones down the vanilla character in the wine. Really impressive and delicious. It's a joy to drink now, but can age."

Bouchaine Vineyards Estate Pinot Noir Carneros 2018 - A tangy fresh cherry nose opens to cocoa, cola, and notes of nutmeg. the juicy lip smacking entry shows lovely cherry and wild strawberry flavors with gorgeous rose petal and baking spices in the background. Trefethen Chardonnay Estate 2018 - Aromas of lemon and lime are complemented by a touch of apple blossom and white peach. Subtle notes of toasted oak frame the palate which features more citrus flavors and hints of apple and pear. The lively acidity brings great balance and the finish is refreshing and smooth. 1.5L
