"Meyer lemon, honeyed toast, spice, and savory mineral aromas and flavors... purity, balance, and length on the palate. It opens up nicely with time in the glass, racy, focused beauty."

Migration is dedicated to crafting wines from the finest cool-climate winegrowing regions highlighting lush fruit, bright acidity and impeccably balanced oak. This dedication has taken the winery to the storied vineyards of California’s Sonoma Coast, where layers of ocean fog cool the vines that grow in the famous Goldridge sandy loam soils.
Palmaz Vineyards Almalia Chardonnay Napa Valley 2018 ML
The beautiful pale-yellow color of the 2018 Chardonnay glimmers in the glass. Its aromatic notes of honeysuckle and tart green apple entice you to dive in. Hints of mango and papaya dance across the palate perfectly balanced with a splash of white pepper and toasted honeycomb. The finish is everlasting, begging for shrimp quenelles or even a pan seared squab.
Palmaz vineyards are nestled at three different elevations, from the hills around the estate to the crest of Mount George, and feature 46 distinct vineyard blocks. Four of these are dedicated to Chardonnay. The complexity of the terrain results in a variety of micro-climates, all of which influence grapes in unique ways.
Patz & Hall North Coast Brut Sparkling Wine 2015 750 ML
This is a complex and elegantly structured sparkling wine with a nose of toasted almond, Meyer lemon peel, yeasty brioche and green apple. On the palate, a profound richness is tempered by mouthwatering acidity that supports unctuous flavors of white peach and tangerine along with lingering caramel-toffee notes on the uncompromisingly dry finish. 100 percent Chardonnay.
For over three decades Patz & Hall has been seeking out the very best small, family-owned Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vineyards in California and establishing long-term relationships with the talented winegrowers who farm these world-class sites.
Goldeneye Anderson Valley Brut Rose 2016 750 ML
This dazzling Brut Rosé offers vibrant aromas of orange marmalade and biscuits, with hints of wild strawberry and ripe cherry. An electric undercurrent of racy acidity adds poise and dimension to this plush, richly textured sparkler, while bright fruit flavors and hints of baking spice, lemon zest and freshly baked brioche dance across the palate. Blend: 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay
Goldeneye Winery was founded in 1996, years before the Pinot Noir boom that has reshaped the landscape of California winemaking. But the genesis for Goldeneye goes back even further. In 1990, after fifteen years of making world-class Bordeaux-varietal wines, Dan and Margaret Duckhorn embraced their growing love of Pinot Noir. The Duckhorns believed that true Pinot greatness would be found on the cool-climate edges of modern California viticulture and found what they were looking for in the Anderson Valley.
